Rai Kunitsugu (来国次), Yamashiro, name at birth: Saburō ́emon (三郎右衛門), according to
Kotō Meizukushi Taizen
he was a son-in law of Rai Kunitoshi (来国俊), there era date signatures of survived works from the Karyaku era (嘉暦, 1326-1329) to the Shōkyō era (正慶, 1332-1334), he mostly made
hira-zukuri ko-wakizashi
with broad
mihaba
and shallow
sori
, because of the

and Sōshū-like workmanship, he is called „Kamakura-Rai“, he is listed as one of the
Masamune no Jittetsu
